In Kherson region, the Transparency and Accountability working group continues to monitor the appropriateness and legality of tenders. The total amount of work on tenders is UAH 175.8 million.
This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Military District Administration.
The post says that during a regular meeting, they considered the use of a state subvention for the construction of shelters in schools in three communities of the Kherson region.
Thus, in the Velyka Oleksandrivka community, it is planned to build protective structures in two educational institutions. In Mala Oleksandrivka, a tender worth UAH 31 million was won by Nikopolska STK LLC. The contract was signed in early September 2024, and the company is ready to start work. The construction of the shelter in Bila Krynytsia is also underway. The cost of the work is UAH 62 million. The construction is expected to be completed by the end of this year. In Vysokopillia, the construction of a protective structure for the main secondary school is underway. UAH 78 million in subventions from the state budget have been allocated for this project. The local community provides co-financing in the amount of 10% of the estimate. The pit preparation has now been completed, the soil removed, the concrete screed poured, and the reinforcement cage installed. The works are ongoing. Also in Muzykivka, 70% of the repair work on the lyceum's protective structure has already been completed. The total cost of the project is UAH 4.8 million. The work is scheduled to be completed by October 31, 2024.
It is noted that as a result of the meeting, it was instructed to strengthen control over the use of budget funds.
Earlier it was reported that in the Kherson region, the prosecutor's office ordered the balance holder to put the shelter in the Bilozerska community in order. Thus, the court upheld the claim of the Oleshky District Prosecutor's Office in the interests of the state to bring the civil defense facility into proper technical condition and readiness for sheltering the population.
It was also about a suspected entrepreneur who caused more than UAH 3.8 million in losses by installing inadequate mobile shelters in Kherson.
