It became known how many disabled prosecutors live in the south of Ukraine

In Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions, six dozen prosecutors have the status of a person with a disability.
The first results of the inspection were published by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Thus, in Odesa region, 47 prosecutors have the status of a person with a disability. This is 9.5% of the total number of prosecutors working there. Meanwhile, in Mykolaiv region, only 12 prosecutors, or 4.5% of the total number, have this status.
In Kherson region, only 1 prosecutor has received the status of a person with a disability. This is 0.6% of the total number of working prosecutors.

In general, in Ukraine, a high percentage of prosecutors with the status of a person with a disability was found in Cherkasy and Khmelnytsky regions.
In particular, in Cherkasy region, 60 out of 219 prosecutors have the status of a person with a disability. In total, this is 27.4% of the total number. At the same time, almost all prosecutors with disabilities (59 people) acquired this status before the Russian invasion.
In Khmelnytskyi region, 61 prosecutors (29.8% of the total) have this status, and 50 people have been recognized as persons with disabilities until 2022.
In the Office of the Prosecutor General, 22 prosecutors have the status of a person with a disability. This is 2.5% of the total number of prosecutors working in the central office.
"Each of these facts will be thoroughly checked and assessed both within the framework of an internal investigation and criminal proceedings ," the Prosecutor General's Office said in a statement.
Recently, Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin announced that he was resigning from the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine due to the facts of abuse in the system of prosecution bodies of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the head of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, Oleh Kiper, has succeeded in obtaining a pension for his long service as a former prosecutor. The press service of the regional prosecutor's office confirmed this, but added that Oleh Kiper does not have a disability pension and is not disabled.
In addition, law enforcement officers searched the homes of the head of the Mykolaiv Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEC) and her son as part of an investigation into a mobilization evasion scheme. During the searches, $450,000 in cash and a collection of jewelry were seized.
