Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation exposed an employee of the Malynivka RTC and Odesa JV who organized money-making on men who wanted to avoid mobilization.
According to the SBI, the illegal scheme had been operating since March 2023. An employee of one of the departments of the TCC unauthorizedly corrected the data of persons liable for military service in the Oberih electronic database for 4-7 thousand US dollars. He entered false information about the men's unfitness for service, which allowed them to travel abroad.
Currently, the SBI is identifying all those who managed to take advantage of the scheme. An employee of the RTCC and the JV was served a notice of suspicion of unauthorized interference with information and communication systems. The sanction of the article provides for a sentence of up to 15 years in prison. The issue of choosing a measure of restraint is also being decided.
Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation have completed the investigation of the criminal proceedings against the former head of the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, Yevhen Borysov , for forgery of documents.
According to the SBI, the indictment against Borisov has been sent to court.
"The investigation found that in early December 2022, the military officer was discharged from a military hospital, but did not report for military service for more than two weeks without good reason. The investigation revealed that he had forged a medical document to travel outside Ukraine," the agency reminded.
Prior to that, SBI employees completed the investigation and handed over an indictment against the former head of the Odesa Regional TCC and JV Yevhen Borysov, who traveled to the resorts of the Seychelles and Spain instead of serving. The investigation found that from December 2 to 16, 2022, Borysov did not report for duty, and then submitted an extract from his medical record as a reason for this, which stated that he had been treated in a medical facility for two weeks.
