The cities of Yevpatoria and Saki in Crimea are completely without power. Rolling blackouts have been implemented in Sevastopol.

Vitaly Oganesyan, the Russian-appointed mayor of Yevpatoria, noted that the villages of Mirne, Zaozernoye, and Novoozernoye are also without power. It is known that the lack of electricity has caused water supply issues; water is being supplied at minimal pressure.

There are also water disruptions in Saki. Yulia Predibailo, head of the Russian administration in Saki, reported that the city is without power while “emergency repair work” is underway.

Military and energy facilities, as well as Russian logistics routes in Crimea, have been subjected to the most massive attacks since the start of the full-scale war beginning in June. Onthe night of July 24, a warehouse belonging to the Russian e-commerce platform Wildberries caught fire following explosions. A local thermal power plant may also have been targeted. As noted by “Crimean Wind,” the substation supplies electricity to settlements in the Kirovsky District and powers a pumping station near the Feodosia Reservoir.

Amid fuel shortages and power outages in the temporarily occupied Crimea, the cost of tickets for certain intercity bus routes more than doubled in the second half of July. Due to power outages, ticket agents are often forced to issue tickets manually, which leads to long lines. Payment terminals also stop working during power outages, so passengers have to pay in cash.
