Woman killed in Odesa by Russian strike overnight

On the night of February 14, Odesa once again became a target for an air strike, which is regularly carried out by Russian occupation forces.

According to the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Odesa Oblast, this time a private house was hit, and rescuers found the body of a woman under the rubble.

In addition to the destroyed house, the blast wave damaged windows in neighboring houses. An operational headquarters has been set up at the scene of the tragedy, where the victims can receive the necessary assistance and advice.

This is the second time in a row that a person has died as a result of a Russian attack. On the night of February 13, one person was killed and six others were wounded in a night attack on Odesa region. The energy, port, residential and industrial infrastructure was damaged. As a result of the attacks, large-scale fires broke out in a car dealership, where the fire spread over an area of 2,000 square meters, burning cars parked nearby, garage boxes with cars, and a power facility that sustained significant damage.

On the night of February 13, the enemy attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile, as well as 154 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmass, and other types of attack drones. According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m., air defense neutralized 111 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones. Missiles and 22 attack UAVs were hit at 18 locations, and the downed UAVs fell (wreckage) at two locations.

The day before, at about one in the morning, Russian troops also attacked Odesa. In one of the city's districts, an infrastructure facility was hit. The State Emergency Service units immediately started working at the site.
