Wealth of ex-deputy head of Odesa regional TSC was included in the anti-rating of the State Bureau of Investigation

The State Bureau of Investigation has published another list of cases against officials suspected of corruption, which the bureau has assessed as the most high-profile of the week.

According to the Center for Public Investigations, citing the SBI press service, one of these cases was the exposure of the former deputy head of the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Manning and Social Support for illicit enrichment and legalization of property.

According to the investigation, during 2020-2022, the official acquired assets totaling more than UAH 37.7 million and, in order to conceal the real owner, the property was registered in the names of close relatives - his wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother.

The former official was served in absentia a notice of suspicion of illicit enrichment, organization of legalization of the proceeds of crime, and declaration of false information.

The mother of the military officer's wife was also served a notice of suspicion of aiding and abetting in the legalization of the proceeds of crime and using a knowingly forged document.
