Volunteer dentists and mobile pharmacies work in Kherson region

In Kherson Oblast, volunteer dentists have treated 195 residents of the Kalynivka community.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional State Administration.

The post says that at the initiative of the Kalynivka UDA and the local outpatient clinic, volunteers from the Dental Hope mission visited the community. This project is aimed at helping people who cannot afford quality dental treatment.

It is noted that during the week, dental volunteers provided free services to 195 community members.

The press service also reminded that there are two mobile pharmacies in the region. One of them is in Beryslav district. Thanks to this initiative, residents of remote villages can purchase the necessary medicines, including those under the Affordable Medicines program. On October 7, the pharmacy will operate in Ivanivka and Zarichne of the Vysokopil community, as well as in Novobratske and Orlovo of the Kochubeev community.

The route of the second mobile pharmacy covers 35 settlements in 7 communities. On October 7, the pharmacy is scheduled to arrive in Solnechne, Bohdanivka and Petrivka in Kherson community, as well as in Skhidne Muzykivka community.

Earlier it was reported that at the end of September , mobile teams of doctors visited a number of settlements in Kherson Oblast, including Myroliubivka, Vysoke, Chornobaivka, Posad Pokrovske and Kherson. An ophthalmologist, an otolaryngologist, a neurologist and an endocrinologist saw patients. The specialists consulted patients, conducted examinations and prescribed the necessary treatment. The doctors also helped people with limited mobility by making home visits. In total, the doctors helped more than 250 residents of Kherson region. It is noted that the visits were organized by the NGO "Keysers" in partnership with "Medecins du monde" with the support of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Crisis Center.
