Utilities of Mykolaiv region received over 342 million in support

During the first half of 2025, local governments of Mykolaiv region provided financial support to housing and communal services enterprises for a total of 342.02 million.

This was reported by the Housing and Utilities Department of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

Water and sewerage companies received the most funds - UAH 329 million. Almost 13 million more was allocated to support the region's heat supply companies. In terms of communities, the most significant support was provided to the Mykolaiv City Territorial Community - more than UAH 307 million. Among others:

  • South Ukrainian community - UAH 12.1 million
  • Ochakiv community - UAH 6.4 million
  • Snihuriv community - UAH 5.3 million
  • Voznesensk community - UAH 5 million
  • Pervomaisk community - UAH 2.9 million
  • Novoodeska community - UAH 1.6 million
  • Bashtanka community - UAH 1.4 million

Thanks to this funding, the communities were able to ensure the uninterrupted operation of key utilities, including water supply, sewerage and heat supply.

Earlier, Intent analyzed the most expensive procurements made by Mykolaivvodokanal. In the seven months since the beginning of the year, the company spent 380 million on electricity and water supply repairs. Most of the money was spent on electricity, reconstruction of water pipes and purchase of chemicals. In 2024, the utility company spent over UAH 500 million on procurement . The main funds were spent on the reconstruction of water supply networks, road repairs, and electricity purchases.

As a reminder, Mykolaivvodokanal can now receive UAH 695 million from the community budget and a new version of the charter. At the next session of the city council, they also plan to consider a project to expand the company's activities.
