Up to 150 million in budget funds have been added to repair a kindergarten in a village in Odesa region

The reconstruction of a kindergarten in Raukhivka village, Berezovsky district, Odesa region, will cost UAH 150 million. This is the fourth attempt to find a contractor.

According to the Center for Public Investigations, the information was published on the Prozorro e-procurement portal.

The tender is marked "adjustments". Probably, the procurement was updated and the relevant documentation was added. The amount of work was estimated at UAH 150 million 901 thousand. Initially, UAH 125 million 734 thousand was planned to be allocated for the reconstruction. The funds were allocated from the state budget.

The tender was announced by the Raukhiv village council and is not the first one. Since then, the documentation has been updated and the estimate increased by more than UAH 25 million.

The project involves the actual construction of a new kindergarten with modern engineering networks, security systems and landscaping. In particular, it is planned to install a fire water supply system, water filters, a heating system with underfloor heating, video surveillance and air alarms. Landscaping, sidewalks, and decorative pavement in the yard are also planned. The technical documentation does not contain information about the construction of a bomb shelter.

Applications from contractors will be accepted until June 2, and the next day an auction will be held in the format of an open bidding with special features that provide for reduced deadlines for submitting applications and appeals.

It is worth noting that this kindergarten is attended by only 80 children.

The previous tender in April 2024, where the amount of reconstruction reached almost UAH 147.5 million, was canceled due to violations. The procurement was held in the format of a single tender with special features on April 25, and the only participant was Donstroy Limited Liability Company. This auction was canceled three times: once for lack of bids, and twice due to a reduction in spending on the procurement of goods, works and services.

Intent wrote that in Odesa, a case is being considered on the alleged embezzlement of budget funds during the repair of a shelter in kindergarten No. 241, located at 5-A Vitaliy Blazhko Street.
