UN Security Council meets once again to discuss Russia's aggression

The UN Security Council has once again gathered to discuss the situation in Ukraine in connection with Russia's war against Ukraine and Russia's actions against other countries.

In New York on September 23, the UN Security Council Secretariat reported that the event will be held as part of the General Assembly's High-Level Week, with the participation of heads of state and foreign ministers of the Security Council member states. The meeting will begin in the afternoon.

Ukraine is expected to be represented by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will speak on behalf of the UN.

On Monday, September 22, the UN Security Council held an extraordinary meeting due to the violation of Estonian airspace by Russian fighter jets.
