Ukrposhta has announced an auction for the sale of its former head office in Izmail, built in 1912, with a complex of outbuildings and outbuildings with a total area of 807 square meters.

The facility is located at 39 Benderska Street, near the City Garden, Intent writes with reference to the Prozorro.Sale website.

The building at 39 Benderska Street housed the main post office until the late 90s, and later the post office No. 9.

The starting price of the lot is UAH 1 million 942 thousand. The area of the land plot is 0.1148 hectares. It does not have a cadastral number, but it has a State Act for the right to permanent land use.

The building is connected to all communication systems - water supply and sewage, heating, gas, electricity. The sale will take place in the form of a three-round English auction scheduled for September 18. That is, the highest bidder will win.

Over the past 4 years, Ukrposhta has made several attempts to sell the asset in the heart of Izmail. In 2021, it was put up for sale for UAH 2.15 million. According to the results of the third auction, the only bidder, Anatolii Popescu, head of the Odesa Regional National Cultural Romanian Association "Bessarabia," was recognized as the winner. He offered 1 million 268 thousand hryvnias for the building. However, the winner did not pay the amount. The contract was not signed.

Then Ukrposhta decided to sell the lot at a higher price, for UAH 7.2 million. However, there were no takers. Then the post office tried to sell the asset in the fall of 2023 under the Dutch system (i.e., at a lower price), starting with more than seven million hryvnias. But no one submitted any bids for the auction either.
