Ukrenergo has planned the construction of new high-voltage lines Kakhovska - Prymorska and Prymorska substation in three regions of southern Ukraine. Engineering design works were estimated at more than UAH 23 million.

This was reported by Intent with reference to the data from the Prozorro procurement system.

The National Energy Company Ukrenergo has announced two tenders for the engineering design of the new construction of 750 kV Kakhovska-Prymorska high-voltage power lines with the 750 kV Prymorska substation and 330 kV OHL in Kherson, Mykolaiv and Odesa regions.

The first tender is for the fifth stage of the project at stage P, with an expected value of UAH 10.2 million.

The second tender is for the third stage of designing the same facility, where the expected cost of engineering works is UAH 12.9 million.

Both tenders involve an open auction that will start on December 16, 2025. Questions and clarifications can be submitted until December 12, and the deadline for submitting bids is December 15. The design work should be completed by July 1, 2027.

According to the terms of the procurement, an advance payment of 20% upon invoice and 80% upon completion of the work is provided, with payment terms of 25 banking days. The minimum price reduction step during the auction is 1% or about UAH 102-130 thousand, depending on the lot.

According to the tender documentation, the design of the 750 kV Kakhovska-Prymorska transmission line is a key stage in the development of the energy sector in southern Ukraine, as the new lines will ensure reliable electricity transmission and strengthen the region's energy security.

The 750 kV Kakhovska-Prymorska OHL is a high-voltage power line that connects the Kakhovska (Kherson region) and Prymorska (Odesa region) substations. Typically, such lines cross the territory of several regions, which is why the tender mentions Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions.

At the same time, the program to protect key power substations in southern Ukraine from Russian shelling has not actually worked for two years. In 2023-2024, only two out of twenty large contracts signed by Ukrenergo and the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration were implemented in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.
