The Ukrainian military tried to deliver humanitarian aid to residents of the temporarily occupied Oleshky using large drones. However, the Russian military began actively shooting down drones carrying medicines and food.

This was reported to Toronto Television by the spokesman for the 34th Marine Brigade, Serhiy Serhiyev.

According to him, at first, the Ukrainian military managed to deliver the necessary things to the locals - food and medicine. However, later, the Russian military began to deliberately shoot down drones with humanitarian parcels.

In addition, the occupiers intimidated people who tried to pick up the aid.

Local residents say that the situation with food under occupation remains difficult. One of the residents of Oleshky told journalists that food prices are very high, and they can only be purchased with cash. The nearest ATM is in Skadovsk, almost 100 kilometers away, but it is extremely difficult to get there.

Intent wrote that in the temporarily occupied Oleshky on the left bank of the Kherson region, the Russian military forcefully takes food from local residents, and those who refuse to give it back are killed.

Recently, 32 people have been evacuated from the temporarily occupied Oleshky on the left bank of the Kherson region.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets reported that the humanitarian situation in Oleshky is rapidly deteriorating - residents live without basic conditions and risk their lives every day. The town is effectively cut off from adequate supplies, and any attempts to deliver aid are fraught with mortal danger.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also emphasized that the Russian occupiers are blocking the departure of the population and preventing the delivery of food, medicine and essential goods. As a result, local residents, including children and people with limited mobility, are forced to live without adequate access to food, drinking water, medical care and basic living conditions.

In addition, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the situation in Kherson and the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, in particular in Oleshky, is "particularly difficult". According to him, the evacuation of people from the left bank of the region remains extremely difficult.
