Ukrainian collectors earned 740 million last year

Collection companies in Ukraine, three of which are registered in Odesa region, earned UAH 737 million in 2023, which is almost 18% more than in 2021.

This was reported by analysts of the R&D center YouControl after analyzing data from the Register of Collection Companies.

The register now includes 79 legal entities, and the largest companies have been identified by authorized capital and revenue for the past year. Sanigo LLC showed the largest increase - by 190 times. And the leader in terms of revenue of UAH 145 million is Financial Company European Debt Recovery Agency LLC.

57 of the 79 analyzed companies are registered in the capital. Two more companies are registered in Kyiv region. Six and five legal entities are located in Zaporizhzhia and Chernihiv regions, respectively. Three companies are located in Dnipropetrovs'k and Odesa regions. One company each is registered in Kirovohrad, Lviv, and Poltava regions.

Over the past three years, only 4 legal entities have been excluded from the Register of Collection Companies - two in 2023 and two in 2024. Three of the excluded firms changed their legal name, place of registration and membership.

In April 2023, Essayment Law Firm LLC was removed from the Register, which in early March 2023 changed its name to JB Shipping LLC, its registration address from Kyiv to Odesa, and its main activity from the field of maritime freight transport law.

The last company to be removed from the Register in September 2024 was Collection Agency Factor LLC. A few days after that, the company changed its name to Sigma 2024 LLC and its registration from Kyiv to Odesa. The company's shareholders also changed.

According to analysts, the number of participants in the collection market has increased over the past almost 3 years - six companies in 2023, six companies in the first 9 months of 2024. And two companies that were included in the Register in 2022 before the invasion. As of October, there are 79 companies in the Register.
