The Ukrainian military has received a batch of defective mines manufactured by one of the Ukroboronprom enterprises.

This was reported by Yuriy Butusov, editor-in-chief of Censor.NET.

He noted that he had previously published a video in which the military demonstrated the malfunction of these mines. At that time, a batch of low-quality ammunition was seized to investigate the causes of the defect. However, a new video from another unit showed that the same mines were still in service and had not been withdrawn.

Butusov emphasized that the situation points to a systemic problem. According to him, a large number of mines manufactured with public funds do not meet quality standards. He called for the urgent withdrawal of defective ammunition, an investigation into the process of its production and inspection.

The journalist also demanded to find out who was responsible for accepting these mines into service and how they were transferred to the troops without proper testing.

"This is a really serious systemic problem, a large number of mines produced by Ukroboronprom, supplied for public money, their quality is unsatisfactory. One batch was taken away, but the same batch with defects remained. These mines need to be taken back immediately. Not only do we need to take them back, but we need to understand who planned the production of such mines and how, who is responsible for quality and how, and who is responsible for military acceptance among military leaders. Why such mineswere transferred to military units without quality control, and we need to pay attention to this and give a legal assessment," emphasized Yuriy Butusov.

Recently, regular units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces have received operational fighter drones capable of striking the enemy at a distance of tens of kilometers.

Meanwhile, the foreign ministers of Germany, France, Poland, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom confirmed that they will continue to take steps to deter Russian aggression, including through further support for Ukraine.

By the way, Donald Trump' s victory made Seoul think about weapons for Ukraine.
