Ukraine Registers NGOCenter: A Milestone for Online Media Growth

The National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting has decided to register the Odesa-based NGOCenter for Public Investigations as an entity in the field of online media.

According to the CPI, this step is an important step in the development of the country's media space and has a significant impact on the activities of online media.

What does this decision mean for the media?

Registration of online media in Ukraine is regulated by the Law of Ukraine "On Media" and relevant regulations. According to the law, online media entities can register on a voluntary basis. Registration provides a number of benefits and imposes certain obligations on media organizations.
