Ukraine Appoints Vyacheslav Bezruk as Chornomorsk Sea Port Director

Oleksiy Kuleba, Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, has appointed a new head of the Chornomorsk Commercial Sea Port.

According to the Minister's decree, Vyacheslav Bezruk was appointed director of the state-owned enterprise Chornomorsk Commercial Sea Port for a term not exceeding the duration of the martial law and three months after its termination or cancellation.

In the declaration of the candidate for the position of the port director, Vyacheslav Bezruk indicated that he owns nine land plots in the village of Kozary, Nosiv community, Nizhyn district, Chernihiv region, with a total area of 10.26 square meters. Nina Bezruk owns a 127.7-square-meter apartment in Kyiv.

He drives a car that also belongs to Nina Bezruk - a 2019 Land Rover Range Rover, which she purchased in 2024.

His income was UAH 116,851 in salary at Ukrgasvydobuvannya Joint Stock Company and UAH 257,335 at Kyiv-Dniprovsky Interbranch Enterprise of Industrial Railway Transport Private Joint Stock Company. He earned another UAH 141.8 thousand from his business activities and sold a share for UAH 3 thousand and received a cashback of UAH 149.

Vyacheslav Bezruk keeps 20 thousand US dollars in cash. On March 14, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the candidacy of the new port head.

In November 2024, the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv reinstated Maksym Shyrokov, who had been dismissed from his position in July 2023 for negligence, as head of the Chornomorsk Seaport Authority.

However, until Vyacheslav Bezruk's appointment, Vyacheslav Glazun, the first deputy director, temporarily acted as the port director.
