Two residents of the Kherson region who headed the occupation "village council" and the district unit of the "regional medical institution" have been served with a notice of suspicion.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The report says that under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, two residents of the region were notified in absentia of suspicion of collaboration (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

It is noted that, according to the investigation, the 62-year-old suspect in August 2022 was appointed the so-called "head of the Kalanchak district branch of the Skadovsk interdistrict department of the Kherson Regional Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology". Her responsibilities included general management of the unit, organization and ensuring its functioning. She was responsible for recruiting staff, assigning duties to positions and monitoring their performance. In April 2022, another suspect, aged 46, took up the position of the so-called "head of the Novoaleksandrovsky village council of the Beryslav district". In this position, she ensured the circulation of the Russian ruble, organized the work of the occupation authority and its financing.

The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the SBU Office in Kherson region and the Police Department No. 1 of the Beryslav District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kherson region.

Earlier it was reported that an educator who implemented Russian education standards in the seized university of Kherson was suspected. According to the investigation, in the summer of 2022, the suspect cooperated with the enemy and took the position of "dean" of one of the faculties of the Kherson National Technical University seized by the occupiers. In his pseudo-position, the suspect began to implement Russian education standards and taught courses exclusively in Russian.

Another suspect is a resident of Kherson region who leased property to the occupiers and received more than half a million rubles in profit.
