Trukhanov replaces Odesa's chief trade officer

Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov has dismissed Iryna Yastremska, head of the Department of Consumer Market Development and Consumer Protection of the Odesa City Council.

The relevant order was published by the press service of the municipality, according to the Center for Public Investigations.

According to the order, she was dismissed by agreement of the parties. Iryna Yastremska was appointed to this position by Hennadii Truakhnov at the end of 2021. Prior to that, she was the head of the State Tax Inspectorate in the Prymorskyi District of Odesa of the Main Department of the Ministry of Income in Odesa Region. She is also the aunt of tennis player Diana Yastremska.

Iryna Yastremska's place in the department was taken by her deputy Konstantin Safoshin. Prior to joining the department, he was the director of the Infoksvodokanal service center. Before that, he worked as a tax inspector. In 2009, he became the head of the Odesa regional branch of the State Enterprise Center for State Land Cadastre.

According to the declaration made public by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, in 2024, Konstantin Safoshin's wife , Victoria Krupskaya, became the owner of a non-residential premises of 79.1 square meters and an apartment of 50 square meters in Turkey.

The family also owns real estate:

• Three plots of land in Odesa (987, 7, and 52 square meters) - Konstantin Safoshin owns 50% of each.
• A residential building (694.1 square meters) - Konstantin Safoshin owns 50%.
• An apartment of 35.8 square meters is owned by Konstantin Safoshin.
• A land plot (396 square meters) is owned by Victoria Krupskaya.
• A residential building (120.7 square meters) is owned by her.

In 2023, the official's wife also became the owner of a 36.9-square-meter apartment in Odesa.

In January 2022, Kostiantyn Safoshyn became the owner of a 2020 BMW X5, and in 2023 his wife bought a BMW X7 of the same year.

Last year, the family's income consisted of the official's salary of UAH 879,204 and his income from renting out property of UAH 1,54.8 thousand. Also, his wife's income amounted to UAH 30 thousand, her income from entrepreneurial activity amounted to UAH 506 thousand 624, and his wife's income from the alienation of real estate amounted to UAH 2 million 105.3 thousand.

The family prefers to save money in cash - 50 thousand dollars for the official and 50 thousand dollars and 15 thousand euros for his wife.

Iryna Yastremska declared ownership of two apartments in Odesa of 30.1 and 29.4 square meters, one of which she owns by one third, and she also has a 120.4 square meter house and a 485 square meter land plot in Odesa.

Since 2023, she has been using a 2021 BMW IX XDRIVE40, which belongs to Oleksii Laptiev.


Her income was UAH 585.5 thousand in salary and UAH 1.7 thousand in payments from a trade union organization. Her savings consist of UAH 826 thousand and $35 thousand in cash.
