Former Odessa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov may initiate proceedings to strip four representatives of the “Trust the Deeds” partyof their legislative seats . These representatives are members of the Odessa City Council and the Odessa Regional Council.

This was reported by Odessa journalist Iryna Hryb, citing sources within the party.

According to her, the “Trust the Deeds” party plans to hold a political council meeting on August 13–14. One of the main issues will reportedly be the application of the imperative mandate procedure against Oleg Bryndak, Marina Lozovenko, Vasyl Ieremiya, and Odessa Regional Council member Svitlana Fabrikant.

The journalist claims that the party leadership is pushing for the political council meeting to take place but is allegedly not conducting direct negotiations with the deputies.

Fabrikant confirmed the information regarding her mandate

Svitlana Fabrikant, a member of the Odesa Regional Council representing the “Trust the Deeds” party, confirmed to Intent that the information regarding her legislative mandate is accurate.

At the same time, she noted that she has no information regarding Vitaliy Barvinenko’s involvement in this process.

Barvinenko himself told Intent that he has not been involved with the party or legislative affairs for a long time.

“I haven’t been involved with either ‘Trust the Deeds’ or legislative matters for a long time. Since December 2025, I’ve been pursuing my own path,” he said.

Trukhanov’s office neither confirmed nor denied the information.

Intent also reached out to Hennadiy Trukhanov’s press office for comment.

They neither confirmed nor denied the information regarding the possible revocation of the deputies’ mandates.

“I have no information on this matter,” replied Hennadiy Trukhanov’s press secretary.

Thus, at this time, there is no official confirmation from the party leadership regarding the upcoming meeting of the political council or the possible application of the imperative mandate to the four deputies.
