In the city of Pivdenoukrainsk, Mykolaiv region, the state has been given back two real estate properties with a total area of more than 3,000 square meters. Their total value is UAH 15.8 million.

According to the press service of the regional prosecutor's office, the reason for going to court was the private enterprise's longstanding failure to fulfill the terms of privatization contracts. The lawsuit was filed by the Voznesensk District Prosecutor's Office, and the courts of first and appellate instance - the Mykolaiv Oblast Commercial Court and the Southwest Commercial Court of Appeal - upheld the prosecution's position.

The courts invalidated the sale and purchase agreements concluded between the Regional Office of the State Property Fund in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions and the business entity. As a result, the property was returned to state ownership, which opens up the possibility of its effective use and budget revenues.

Meanwhile, in Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv region, the court managed to return property worth UAH 36 million to the state and recover half a million hryvnias from a dishonest tenant. The regional court upheld the claim and ordered the company to pay almost UAH 500,000 for the late return of the leased state premises.

The prosecutor's office also filed a lawsuit against the local administration for the illegal transfer of state land to private ownership. It was established that seven citizens were allocated about 40 hectares of land near the river, allegedly for farming, although this land was supposed to remain in state ownership.

In addition, a deputy of the village council of Mykolaiv region illegally appropriated a land plot. His actions caused almost half a million hryvnias in damages to the Pervomaisk village council. The official faces up to eight years in prison.
