47 political prisoners of Crimea have restrictions or probation as of the end of August.

This was reported by the press service of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center (CTRC).

It is noted that among the victims of the occupation of Crimea, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center distinguishes the category "Political prisoners of Crimea, whose rights are restricted outside the places of detention". In particular, this category includes people who have restrictions, probation, suspended sentences, administrative supervision, or are under house arrest.

The press service said that these restrictions are designed to make civilian life as difficult as possible for political prisoners after serving their illegal sentences. For example, people who are under these restrictions cannot find a full-time job, receive medical care or even social benefits. The URCS added that Russia uses absolutely all the tools of the repressive machine to exemplify punishment for the manifestation of a pro-Ukrainian position in Crimea.

Currently, there are 356 Ukrainian citizens prosecuted in criminal "cases" during the occupation of Crimea, 47 of whom are on restricted or probationary status, 24 of them are representatives of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people.

Earlier it was reported that in Crimea, local residents have been increasingly protesting the occupiers. Thus, a resident of Feodosia spoke negatively about Russian security forces, occupation troops and the actions of the occupying country. The occupation administration detained him, and the case file was sent to the "court". Also, a 54-year-old resident of Sevastopol in one of the Internet messengers spoke negatively about the actions of the occupation forces. Russian security forces detained him and drew up an administrative report, and the case file was sent to the "court".
