The Odessa City Council has set the date for its next session

Igor Koval, acting mayor of Odessa, has ordered that city council members be convened for a regular session.

According to the city council’s press office, the next session is scheduled for June 8.

The agenda has not yet been finalized and currently consists of a list of subheadings for sections that will later be grouped into draft resolutions:

It should be noted that on June 11, an extraordinary session of the city council was held, devoted primarily to increasing the authorized capital of 13 municipal enterprises so that they could participate in obtaining loans under the state program "5-7-9%" and obtain a loan at 1% per annum from a bank to purchase municipal equipment.

Also during the special session, the acting mayor promised that if, by the next regular session, the newly formed Council of Veterans selects a representative of the military to join the executive committee, that candidate will be considered at the session.

The Odessa Regional Council has also scheduled a regular session for June 19, though the agenda has not yet been finalized. Meanwhile, the publication Dumskaya, citing its own sources, reported that the Servant of the People party plans to remove Hryhoriy Didenko from his position as chairman of the Odessa Regional Council. His seat may be taken by OdesaMP Oleksiy Leonov.
