The Navy destroyed three enemy unmanned boats in the Black Sea

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to successfully counter threats at sea. Thanks to joint efforts by the Ukrainian Navy and the Main Intelligence Directorate, three enemy unmanned surface vessels were detected and destroyed at once.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Navy.

It is noted that the enemy unmanned surface vessels were detected in a timely manner and neutralized before they could carry out their assigned missions.

The Ukrainian Navy emphasized that every repelled attack helps save the lives of Ukrainian military personnel and civilians, while also dealing another blow to the plans of the Russian occupiers.

Ukrainian military personnel continue to monitor the situation in the waters and counter the enemy’s attempts to deploy the latest weapons systems at sea.

The Defense Forces assured that the enemy will have no chance of carrying out its plans—neither on land, nor in the air, nor at sea.

On the night of April 30, 2026, the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a fleet of Russian ships and boats in the Kerch Strait area.

As a result of the attack, the patrol boat“Sobol”and the anti-sabotage boat“Grachonok, both part of Russian security forces, were struck. According to preliminary data, the enemy suffered irreparable and combat-related casualties.

<span>Recently, Dutch partners within the Maritime Capabilities Coalition transferred an Alkmaar-class minesweeper to the Ukrainian Navy.</span>

In January 2024, Turkey banned two British minesweepers fromtransiting through its waters into the Black Sea. Turkey informed all its allies that it would not allow the use of the Bosporus and Dardanelles straits until the war in Ukraine ends.

In December 2023, the United Kingdom and Norwayleda new Coalition of Naval Forces and Assets, which will supply ships and vehicles to strengthen Ukraine’s maritime capabilities. As part of this coalition, two Sandown-class minehunters were procured. Previously,
