On January 18, residents of Peresypskyi district of Odesa will be left without electricity supply from 10:00 to 16:00.

This was reported by the press service of the municipality.

The mayor's office said that this will happen due to repair work on electrical networks. Also, residents of these neighborhoods will not have water supply. These are the Luzanivka residential area and the former Kotovsky residential area. There will also be no heating in part of the Peresypsky district.

Therefore, the mayor's office urged residents of these residential areas to stock up on water.

Since the beginning of January, Odesa has been regularly targeted by the Russian Federation. On the night of January 13, two power facilities of DTEK Odesa Power Grids, an electricity distribution operator, were damaged during an enemy attack in Odesa.

On January 4, some streets in Odesa and the region were temporarily without water supply due to repairs. Several addresses in the city and suburbs were affected by the outage, and the time to restore the power supply may vary.

Also, as a result of two hostile attacks during the night of December 22, a critical infrastructure facility in Odesa was damaged, leaving part of one of the city's districts without power. A 30-year-old man was injured and taken to hospital with shrapnel wounds of moderate severity. The windows in a residential building were damaged.

On December 21, traffic restrictions in both directions on the M-15 Odesa-Reni highway (to Bucharest) within the village of Mayaki, which had been imposed after the Russian attack on the bridge across the Dniester, were lifted. On December 18, during an attack in Odesa region, an enemy attack drone hit a bridge connecting settlements in the area of the Dniester estuary and also hit a bridge over the Dniester River near the village of Mayaki. There, it hit a civilian car that was crossing the bridge. The car was occupied by a woman with three children. The mother was seriously injured and died in an ambulance. Her three children were taken to the hospital with injuries and acute stress reaction.
