A court sentenced a collaborator—who headed the occupation administration in the Skadovsk district of the Kherson region and controlled five settlements—to 12 years in prison. The verdict was handed down in absentia.

This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.

According to the case file, the 42-year-old pro-Russian local resident assumed the position of the so-called “head of the ‘Tavria’ territorial administration of the Skadovsk municipal district in the Kherson region.”

Five settlements—Tavria, Vyshneve, Oleksandrivka, Mala Oleksandrivka, and Khatky—were under the control of this occupation-era pseudo-entity.

In his “position” with the invaders, the man implemented the policies of the aggressor state and facilitated the enforcement of Russian Federation laws and regulations. He imposed Russian standards of living on local residents, including the transition to Russian legislation, document management, and the socio-economic system.

Together with the occupiers, the suspect reissued founding documents in accordance with Russian “legislation” and ensured the functioning of the occupation administration system.

In addition, the man engaged in propaganda among the local population. He participated in the filming of propaganda videos, in which he openly disseminated Kremlin narratives and accused Ukraine of “aggression against the civilian population.”

On the orders of Skadovsk Gauleiter Oleksandr Dudka, the collaborator also held public meetings with residents to covertly agitate and create the appearance of “concern” on the part of the occupying authorities.

Based on evidence gathered by SBU investigators, the court found the defendant guilty under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

These articles provide for punishment of up to twelve years of imprisonment.
