The fourth communication center of the 112 Service in Ukraine was launched in Odesa

Ukraine's Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko took part in a government retreat and visited the newly created 112 communication center in Odesa together with Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

According to the SES press service, the 112 Service now includes four communication centers in Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro and Odesa.

Operators receive emergency calls from all regions and route them to the appropriate services. The communication center of the 112 Service in Odesa employs 80 operators. Among the employees are seven veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war - those who were injured on the front line and those who returned from enemy captivity.

The meeting was held on March 20, and it was decided that Odesa region would receive UAH 582.3 million for the first objects under the Resilience Plan - to protect power facilities, develop distributed generation, additional power sources for heat and water, and decentralize the heat supply system.

During her visit to Odesa region, the Prime Minister heard from the heads of the regional administrations of Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions on the implementation of the resilience plans of these regions. It was decided to allocate UAH 280.7 million to Mykolaiv region and UAH 97.5 million to Kherson region.

In total, the government has allocated UAH 12.9 billion for the first preparations for the next winter as part of the regional resilience plans. The funds will be allocated to 209 critical infrastructure facilities in the frontline regions and Kyiv Oblast.

The allocated amount will finance the protection of 24 high-voltage substations by the Recovery Agency, for which UAH 3.5 billion is provided. Another UAH 9.4 billion has been allocated to the frontline regions and Kyiv region. These funds will be spent on protective structures for distribution substations and other critical infrastructure facilities. The total funding requirement is estimated at UAH 278 billion (EUR 5.4 billion).
