The former deputy head of the Kherson Regional State Administration was fined 850 hryvnias for failing to file three declarations on time. The official attempted to appeal the court’s decision, but the appellate court upheld it.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
The case was considered on the basis of three reports from the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption. These reports concerned declarations for 2022, upon dismissal, and for 2023, which were required to be submitted after the termination of his term of office.
According to the prosecutor’s office, the former official submitted all three declarations only nearly two years after his dismissal, although he was required to do so within the time limits specified by law.
The court of first instance found him guilty of violations under Part 1 of Article 172-6 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses and imposed a fine of 850 hryvnias.
The former official filed an appeal, but the court rejected it and upheld the ruling.
The decision has become final. Information about the former official is subject to entry into the Unified State Register of Persons Who Have Committed Corruption or Corruption-Related Offenses.
As a reminder, after Roman Mrochko was dismissed from his position as head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, his relatives became the owners of a house with an area of nearly 600 square meters near Kyiv, and his wife purchased a Lexus.
