Dmytro Falco, secretary of the Mykolaiv City Council, received a gift of 1,293,000 hryvnias from his father.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations, citing a declaration of significant changes in financial status published by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

According to the declaration, he received the gift on July 31 and, on the same day, paid 1,256,000 hryvnias for his daughter’s education. Inhis2025declaration, he also showed the most significant increase in income among his fellow council members. While he reported 2.29 million hryvnias in income in 2024, that figure rose to 7 million in 2025. However, the breakdown of this income showed that the main source of the increase was not his salary or business activities, but gifts.

DmytroFalco personally received 795,000 hryvnias in salary and 1.5 million hryvnias in dividends. His father, Volodymyr Falco, gave him another 270,000 hryvnias. The largest contribution was a non-monetary gift worth 3.6 million hryvnias to Oleksandra, the daughter of the city council secretary. An additional 250,000 hryvnias were transferred to his wife, Yulia, as an internal family transfer. As a result, gifts and dividends exceeded the official salary of the official by a factor of four.

Thus, the secretary of the Mykolaiv City Council ranked third in terms of income among his fellow council members in a ranking compiled by the Center for Public Investigations and Intent based on an analysis of the elected officials’ financial disclosures.

Dmytro Falco also ranked fifth in this list of the largest landowners, with 10.7 hectares spread across 11 plots. Almost all of the land is registered in the lawmaker’s personal name. He owns plots in Voskresenske, Mykolaiv District; Tokarivka, Kherson Oblast; and Halytsynove. Only one plot, measuring 0.1 hectares in Balovne, is registered in his family’s name.Falko’sland holdings are located in several districts, and some of them are in the Kherson region, near the combat zone.
