The era of Russian terror in Kherson region claimed a man's life

Kherson region was once again hit by massive shelling from drones, artillery and aircraft. Homes and cars were destroyed, one person was killed and one was injured.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

From six in the morning of May 8 to six in the morning of May 9, 2025, the enemy did not stop terrorizing the Kherson region from the air.

Dozens of settlements came under enemy fire. The enemy shelled 20 settlements of the region with artillery, dropped bombs and attacked with drones, including Kherson, Antonivka, Beryslav, Kizomys, Komyshany and others.

The occupiers targeted residential areas. In several villages, private cars were destroyed, three houses were damaged, one of which was a multi-storey building.

The aggressor's shelling resulted in casualties, one person was killed and another was wounded.

Since six in the morning on May 7, Russian troops continued to massively shell Kherson region, targeting residential areas and critical infrastructure. The strikes damaged at least three high-rise buildings, nine private houses, and destroyed a gas pipeline, a cell tower, a warehouse, and a car. Six people were injured.

The shelling between May 6 and May 7 killed two civilians and injured six others of varying severity.

These attacks were a continuation of the massive terror that continued over the weekend. Thus, on the night of May 4-5, Russian troops attacked Kherson district with ballistic missiles. Two high-rise buildings, four private houses, a cell tower, an outbuilding and several cars were destroyed. One person was killed and seven others were wounded.

The enemy is deliberately destroying civilian infrastructure and endangering civilians, violating international humanitarian law on a daily basis.

From May 3 to 4, the Russian army struck Mykolaiv region with drones, artillery and aircraft. Not only civilians, but also critical and social infrastructure came under fire. Two multi-storey buildings, nine private houses, outbuildings, a gas pipeline, garages and cars were damaged. Nine people were injured.
