As a result of a nighttime attack by enemy drones on the "Starokozache" international border crossing on the border with Moldova, two civilians were killed and three were wounded. <span><span><span><span><span><span>Rescue workers evacuated another 16 people by bus to a safe distance. </span></span></span></span></span></span>
This was reported by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
Due to damage to infrastructure and a fire, operations at the border crossing have been suspended.

On the night of September 8, Russian forces struck the“7th Kilometer” market in the suburbs of Odesa. A 58-year-old security guard and two other men, born in 1972 and 1978, were injured in the attack. Market pavilions were also damaged.
On September 4, Russia launched an attack onOdesa. The attack killed one person, injured five others, and damaged residential buildings and cars.
As a result of the strikes in Odesa,apartmentson the 6th through 8th floors of a nine-story residential building were damaged. The shock wave and debris damaged the windows and facades of neighboring high-rise buildings, as well as 28 parked cars.
In addition, on September 3, apartments in a 21-story residential building in Odesa were damaged as a result of enemyshelling. Seventeen people were injured, including three children. Cars parked nearby were also damaged.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the start of the full-scale invasion, the total losses of the Russian occupiers have exceeded 1.5 million people killed and wounded. These are the Russian army’s heaviest losses in a single conflict since World War II, exceeding the Soviet Union’s losses during the 10-year war in Afghanistan by a factor of 100.
