An explosion was heard in Odesa this afternoon, July 11, during an air raid alert. The Russian military launched a ballistic strike on the city.
This was reported by Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration .
According to him, the enemy attacked an infrastructure facility. There are preliminary reports of casualties.
Information regarding the consequences of the strike is currently being verified.
Around 10:45 a.m., the Ukrainian Air Force warned of the threat of a ballistic missile attack from the south and reported a missile heading toward Odesa. Shortly thereafter, explosions were heard in the city.
This attack was preceded by a nighttime strike on the southern part of the Odesa region. According to Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, the Russian army struck civilian infrastructure in the region.

The attack damaged a clinic, at least three private residential buildings, and other infrastructure facilities. At the clinic, about 60 windows were shattered, eight doors were damaged, and more than 60% of the suspended ceiling was destroyed. Despite the significant damage, the medical equipment survived and remains operational.

According to the Regional State Administration, there were no casualties. Emergency repair and restoration work is underway at the sites, and all relevant services are on the scene.
