The enemy damaged a civilian vessel in the port of Mykolaiv

Russian forces attacked the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions with drones. A civilian vessel was damaged in Mykolaiv, and in the Kherson region, two people were killed and 24 others were wounded in the shelling, including a child.

According to Georgy Reshetilov, acting head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, the consequences of the previous day’s attacks became known on the morning of August 8.

Occupation forces attacked Mykolaiv with “Shahed”-type strike UAVs. Port infrastructure was targeted. A civilian vessel was damaged as a result of the attack. No one was injured.

In the Bashtanka district, the enemy launched four attacks using “Molniya”-type UAVs. A car was damaged as a result of the strikes. There were no casualties.

Four more drone attacks were recorded in the Mykolaiv district. Russian forces used FPV drones twice and “Molniya”-type UAVs twice. No one was injured.

In the Kherson region over the past 24 hours, Russian forces struck 48 settlements and the city of Kherson. The occupiers used aircraft, drones, and artillery, according to the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

The shelling damaged:

• 7 high-rise buildings and 11 private homes;
• a church, a store, a hair salon, and a gas station;
• a farm building and school buses;
• agricultural equipment and private vehicles.

Russian troops also targeted critical and social infrastructure.

Two people were killed as a result of the Russian aggression in the Kherson region. Another 24 people were injured, including one child.
