The Department of Engineering Protection in Odesa overpaid its employees 3 million

Auditors of the Southern Office of the State Audit Service found financial irregularities that led to losses totaling more than UAH 4 million after an audit at the Department of Engineering Protection of the City Territory and Coastal Development of the Odesa City Council.

This was reported by the press service of the Southern Office.

Thus, eleven employees of the Department were unreasonably accrued and paid a bonus without the relevant administrative documents (orders), in the amount of almost UAH 3.1 million.

In addition, three contractors unreasonably overstated the volume and cost of repair and construction works totaling more than UAH 920 thousand. In particular, during the construction and overhaul of places on city beaches for recreation of people with disabilities. Based on the results of the audit, the audited entity was sent a request to eliminate the identified violations. The audit materials were submitted to the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Earlier, specialists of the Southern Office of the State Audit Service of Ukraine during an audit of certain issues of financial and economic activities of the Dalnytsia Village Council in Odesa Oblast found financial irregularities that led to losses totaling more than UAH 2 million. In particular, the auditors found that 11 contractors had unreasonably overstated the volume and cost of repair and construction work performed, including technical supervision, for a total of over UAH 1,170,000.

Earlier, the Center for Financing and Economic Activities of Educational Institutions of Khadzhybeyskyi District of Odesa terminated the agreement with the company that organized meals for children at the Odesa Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training.
