The deadline for residents of the Golopristansk community under occupation to submit evacuation information has been extended

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The Goloprystan community has extended the deadline for updating the lists of residents from the temporarily occupied territories who plan to evacuate. This will allow anyone wishing to leave for territory controlled by Ukraine to submit their information in a timely manner.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>This was reported by the Golopristansk Local Self-Government.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Initially, the deadline for updating the lists was set for July 25. Currently, no end date for collecting information has been specified.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Submitting an application is necessary for compiling the lists, promptly informing citizens, and organizing legal evacuation measures. Registration is being conducted as part of humanitarian cooperation between the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights</span></span></span></span></span></span>

Earlier, ItalianAmbassador Carlo Formosa condemnedRussia for the morning shelling of Kherson, during which one person was killed and the historic residence that housed the Italian Embassy from 1906 to 1918 was damaged. He expressed solidarity with the Ukrainian government and people, notingthat the damaged building stoodas a testament to the long-standing friendship between Italy and Ukraine. 

On July 25–26, two people were killed and 24 others were wounded in the Kherson region as a result of Russian shelling. More than three dozen settlements in the region, including Kherson, came under attack.

Earlier, it was reported that 48-year-oldvolunteer Olena Tarasenko died in Kherson after spending a month and a half in the hospital following Russian shelling. During the city’s occupation, she helped evacuate people and was held captive by Russian forces.
