In Novy Buz, in the Mykolaiv region, there are plans to build a modular administrative services center on Freedom Square. Construction will be funded from the local budget, while international partners are expected to provide furniture, equipment, and a vehicle for the center.

This was discussed during a meeting of the budget committee of the Novy Buzh City Council.

According to information presented at the meeting, the estimated cost of construction work is 4,159,135 hryvnias. The amendments to the community budget allocate 2,696,000 hryvnias from the local budget for the implementation of this investment project.

At the same time, the total cost of the project—including equipment, furniture, and a vehicle for mobile public services—will amount to approximately 8 million hryvnias, according to the presenter. These additional components are to be provided with support from the United Nations Development Program.

During the discussion, council members asked for clarification on the ratio of local to donor funding. A city council representative explained that the community must also ensure the preparation of design and cost estimate documentation, the construction of the foundation, and the landscaping of the site.

The project has been entered into the DREAM system and the community’s unified project portfolio. The matter was submitted for consideration at the next regular session of the city council.

A modular Administrative Service Center is a fully functional building assembled from prefabricated factory-made modules. It can be installed much faster than constructing a conventional building and connected to water, electricity, and the internet. Such centers provide administrative services, including registration of residence, property, and businesses. Typically, these facilities are designed to ensure comfortable and barrier-free service for visitors.
