The major roof renovation of the Odesa Regional Council’s administrative and service building at 4 Shevchenko Avenue was awarded to VB STRAZH LLC. This contractor’s contracts with an Odesa college last year became the subject of criminal proceedings regarding possible official forgery.
An open tender with specific conditions was announced on the Prozorro system on September 11, 2026.
The total cost of the contract, taking into account the local budget, is 6,561,564 hryvnias.
The winner was VB STRAZH LLC, which, according to OpenDataBot, was founded in 2019. The company’s authorized capital is 5,000 hryvnias. The director is Vyacheslav Maksymovych.
The primary business activity of VB STRAZH LLC is non-specialized wholesale trade. Additional activities include roofing work, building construction, and electrical installation work.
The company actively participates in government procurement. According to OpenDataBot, the LLC has participated in 311 tenders.
At the same time, the contractor is mentioned in the materials of a criminal case related to the performance of work funded by the state budget. Law enforcement agencies are investigating allegations that false information may have been included in official documents during the execution of two renovation contracts at the Odesa Trade and Economic Vocational College.
According to investigators, officials from the educational institution and executives of VB STRAZH LLC may have overstated the scope of work performed or falsified reporting documentation. The contracts in question involve major repairs to the fire alarm, warning, and lightning protection systems in the academic building (6 Inglesi St.) and similar work in the dormitory building (4 Inglesi St.). Investigators are examining whether the officials’ actions led to the unjustified expenditure of budget funds.
