The State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine tried to sell corn in Odesa region that did not meet state standards.

According to the Prozorro.Sale system, the auction did not take place.

In the corn of the 3rd class of the 2021 harvest, pests were found that did not allow the content of garbage and grain impurities to be exceeded, and their color and smell were not typical of healthy grain. Since the corn grain did not meet the requirements of the DSTU, it cannot be used for food or feed purposes, but can be used for technical purposes. The total amount is 2.50 tons.

The starting price of corn was UAH 16 million 605 thousand, and the grain was put up for sale in the format of a hybrid Dutch auction.

Earlier, the State Savings Bank failed to sell the right to claim mortgage and pledge debts from the Quad Construction Company, including premises in an architectural monument in the center of Odesa. The auction was canceled due to lack of bidders. The starting price of the claims was UAH 346 million 529.3 thousand. According to the YouControl service, Quad Construction Company LLC was founded by Cyprus-based Fesanes Commercial Ltd. and L.A.R.K. LLC, the latter founded in Kyiv in 2008 and the ultimate beneficiary is Borys Kaufman.

The National Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) has also announced an auction for the sale of the seized USKO MFU, which is currently docked in the port of Reni, Odesa region. The auction is scheduled to take place on November 4 with a starting price of UAH 4 million 958.9 thousand. Given that the vessel has been in a standstill for a long time, its technical condition has deteriorated, and experts have reason to believe that the mechanisms have been defrosted due to the onset of negative temperatures.
