The former occupation deputy of the "Bakhchisaray City Council of the Republic of Crimea" spoke on Russian television about "Nazis" and "fascists" in Ukraine who threaten civilians.

According to the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Evastopol, in April 2022, the former deputy took an active part in the "Congress of Municipal Deputies and Representatives of Public Organizations of the Crimean Tatars" in Simferopol, an event in support of the president of the aggressor state in holding a "svoboda" on the territory of Ukraine. During a public speech for the pro-Russian TV channel "Millet ", the "deputy" spoke about the destruction of "Nazis" and "fascists" in Ukraine in order to "save" and "liberate " civilians, which is a broadcast of a typical Kremlin propaganda narrative.

"The forensic linguistic examination confirmed that the accused's statements justify Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, as well as support for the aggressor state and its occupation administration," the statement reads .

Therefore, the autonomy's prosecutor's office sent to court an indictment against a former occupation deputy of the "Bakhchisaray City Council of the Republic of Crimea" - "Advisor to the Head of the Republic of Crimea". He is accused of justifying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine with the use of media. For his actions, he faces up to 1 2 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Earlier, an indictment was issued against a resident of Kherson who distributed the occupation newspapersNaddnepryanska Pravda and Komsomolska Pravda among employees of a utility company. The texts contained in the publications justified the aggression of the Russian Federation, called the military invaders "liberators" and presented the seizure of Ukrainian territories as "liberation." The actions of the Ukrainian defenders were portrayed as terrorist. Also, two residents of Chornobaivka were served with suspicion in absentia for spreading anti-Ukrainian propaganda.
