On the night of February 25, the Middle Strike units of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) conducted a successful operation in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

This was reported by the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The operators inflicted more than a billion dollars worth of damage on the enemy. As a result of the fire damage, the Middle Strike unit confirmed the complete destruction of the launcher of the S-400 Triumph air defense missile system, the 92N6E radar station and a number of auxiliary elements of the system.

In addition to the costly Triumph, Ukrainian operators eliminated the Pantsyr-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system. The latter served as a cover for important objects and air defense positions of the occupants from attacks by drones and missiles at low and medium altitudes. The Armed Forces emphasize that they continue to carry out asymmetric actions behind enemy lines, systematically reducing the offensive potential of Russian troops.

Also, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, the Russian occupiers began dismantling the building of the Russian Black Sea Fleet headquarters. The building was actually destroyed back in September 2023 as a result of an accurate strike by Storm Shadow missiles.

Despite the invaders' continued attempts to conceal the real state of the facility, the building' s structures were recognized as beyond repair. Special equipment is currently working at the site to dismantle the remains of what was once the main control center of the Russian fleet on the peninsula.

Two missiles hit the facility on September 22, 2023, after which the military stopped operating the building. It is worth noting that the building had significant historical value. It is located on the site of the palace of the Black Sea Fleet Commander, built in 1900 by architect V. A. Feldman. After the Second World War, which completely destroyed the first building, a new headquarters in strict laconic forms was built in 1958.
