Snihuriv community hosted a foreign delegation from Denmark. Representatives of the municipality of Gentofte, headed by Mayor Michael Fenger, personally arrived in the region to discuss further assistance and partnership.

This was reported by the Snihuriv territorial community.

During the visit of the Danish delegation, the first ever Declaration on Partnership, Solidarity and Knowledge Exchange was signed. This document enshrined municipal cooperation aimed at strengthening unity between communities, and defined a common goal of sharing values, culture and practical experience in the areas of governance, education, public services and security.

Ivan Kukhta, Head of the Snihuriv City Military Administration, emphasized that the cooperation already has concrete prospects, including the planned internship of Ukrainian specialists under the TIPS4UA 2026 program. The head of the community thanked the Danish partners for their openness to mutual visits and willingness to jointly create new opportunities for both communities.

Earlier, in cooperation with the Government of Denmark and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), three training workshops were modernized in Mykolaiv Oblast on the basis of vocational education institutions. Investments in the project amounted to USD 430 thousand.

The new educational spaces, located in Mykolaiv, Voznesensk, and Pivdenoukrainsk, will become key sites for training 1,500 students and retraining adults, which will help meet the needs of the regional labor market.

Each of the centers has its own specialization focused on strategic sectors of the economy. In particular, Voznesensk's workshops focus on electrical engineering, construction and trade, while Pivdenoukrainsk's will train personnel for industry, transportation, communications and food service. Meanwhile, Mykolaiv's workshops cover digital technologies, industry, and modern construction.
