Salary increase and renewal of the executive committee: Odesa City Council session in the photos of Intent

A regular session of the city council was held in Odesa, during which the deputies adopted a number of important decisions related to the renewal of executive bodies and optimization of city structures.

As usual, Intent broadcast the meeting online and prepared a photo report from the meeting room.

One of the key issues on the agenda was the renewal of the Executive Committee of Odesa City Council of the VIII convocation. The committee consisted of 17 members, including heads of city departments, members of the public, and deputy heads of the newly created Odesa City Military Administration.

Representatives of the military administration - Nadiya Zadorozhna, Serhiy Krasylenko, Hennadiy Raskin and Olha Lozova- were also included in the executive committee. As stated in the explanatory note to the decision, the renewal of the executive committee is intended to ensure effective interaction between the city authorities and the military administration, as well as the continuity of local government during martial law.

In addition, the deputies supported the decision to liquidate the municipal institution MunicipalGuard. The city council explained that this step is aimed at reducing budget expenditures and improving the efficiency of managing city resources. A special commission was set up to carry out the liquidation procedure, headed by the director of the institution, Yevhen Miroshnychenko.

Another decision was to regulate the remuneration of city council officials. The acting mayor of Odesa, Secretary of the City Council, Ihor Koval, received a 50% salary increase and monthly bonuses. The document also provides for the possibility of providing financial assistance for health improvement and social needs, as well as the right to reward his deputies.

In particular, Koval will receive a bonus for performing particularly important work in the amount of 50% of his salary, a monthly bonus of 150% of his salary, including all bonuses, and annual financial assistance in the amount of his average monthly salary.
