Russians wound eight civilians in Kherson region

Yesterday, on August 7, 8 people were injured in Kherson region as a result of Russian aggression. During a nighttime drone attack, the Air Defense Forces destroyed 1 Shahed-131/136 over the territory of our region.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to him, the Russian military hit a critical infrastructure facility, an educational institution, administrative buildings and a catering facility; residential areas of the region's settlements, including 9 high-rise buildings and 11 private houses. The occupants also damaged a gas pipeline, outbuildings and private cars.

In Antonivka, two people were injured in an attack by an enemy drone. The occupants dropped explosives from a drone on local residents who were on the street. A 46-year-old woman sustained an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to her abdomen. A 56-year-old man was diagnosed with an explosive injury, hip and hand wounds.

Later, it became known about another victim of a Russian drone strike on Antonivka. A 46-year-old man was taken to the hospital with concussion, explosive trauma, shrapnel wounds to his abdomen and leg.

Also, a local resident was injured in Antonivka as a result of an explosive drop from a drone. The 70-year-old woman was hospitalized with a mine-blast injury.

In the morning, on August 8, the Russian army attacked Kherson again. A high-rise building in the city's central district was hit. An enemy shell hit one of the apartments. As a result of the shelling, the apartment was completely destroyed. Fortunately, there were no people living there, so no one was injured.

Yesterday, on August 6, 1 person died and 15 others were wounded as a result of Russian aggression.

According to Prokudin, on August 5, one person died and five others were injured in the right-bank part of Kherson region as a result of Russian aggression.

Earlier it was reported that on August 4, four civilians were injured in the right-bank part of Kherson region due to Russian aggression.

It was also reported that as a result of Russian hostile shelling of the Kherson city territorial community on July 28, 11 civilians, including three children, sustained injuries of varying severity.
