Russian strikes on the Kherson region killed one person and wounded 19 others

Russian forces continue to terrorize the civilian population on the right bank of the Kherson region using drones. One person was the latest victim of the attack, and 19 were wounded. 

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, more than 30 settlements in the region, including Kherson itself, were subjected to enemy drone attacks and artillery shelling.

The occupiers targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods. As a result of the attacks, two high-rise buildings and 22 private homes were damaged. The occupiers also destroyed a post office, a cell tower, a store, outbuildings, and private vehicles.

According to updated information from the Kherson Regional State Administration, a woman sought medical attention at a hospital after being injured in a Russian drone attack in downtown Kherson around 9:00 p.m. the previous day.

Medical personnel diagnosed the 42-year-old local resident with a concussion, blast trauma, and shrapnel wounds to her arm. After receiving the necessary medical care, she was prescribed outpatient treatment.

Additionally, around 1:00 a.m., a Russian drone attacked the village of Krasnopilskoye in the Borozenske community. A 67-year-old local resident was injured in the strike.

The woman sustained blast trauma and shrapnel wounds. She was hospitalized.

The regional prosecutor’s office had previously reported a drone attack in the center of Kherson. 

According to the investigation, on July 15, 2026, at approximately 6:15 p.m., the occupiers struck an intersection in Kherson with a drone.

As a result of the strike, a 53-year-old man sustained fatal injuries. He was on the street at the time of the attack. 

The prosecutor’s office has launched a pre-trial investigation into the attacks that took place on July 15.
