Russian Shelling in Kherson: 32 Localities Targeted, Civilians Injured

Over the past day, Russian troops shelled 32 localities in Kherson region.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Kherson, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Beryslav, Stanislav, Kizomys, Tyahyntsi and many others came under attack. The occupiers used artillery, aircraft and drones.

Social infrastructure and residential areas were targeted. The strikes damaged a multi-storey building, nine private houses, a steadfastness point, outbuildings and several civilian cars.

Eight people were wounded in the shelling. They are currently receiving medical assistance.

During a nighttime attack by kamikaze drones, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed two enemy Shahed-131/136 drones.

In the afternoon of February 16, Russian military attacked Beryslav with drones. The administrative building was damaged. The Russian military also shelled Poniativka. A 29-year-old local resident was injured as a result of the enemy strike.

On February 15, two policemen were wounded and one man died in Kherson region as a result of Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure and vehicles. The day before, the Russian military damaged at least three high-rise buildings and six private houses, as well as warehouses, outbuildings, and vehicles. One person was killed and ten others were injured.

On February 13, the occupants shelled 39 settlements in Kherson region. Enemy attacks claimed the lives of two civilians. On February 12, the invaders attacked a civilian car with a drone in the Korabelny district of Kherson, injuring a 24-year-old man. He sustained explosive and craniocerebral injuries, contusion and a shrapnel wound to his arm.
