The occupying Russian forces struck again at the critical infrastructure of Kherson. As a result of the shelling, the Korabel neighborhood on Ostrov was left without electricity.

According to the head of the Kherson MVA, the authorities are taking all possible measures to minimize inconvenience to local residents. Emergency restoration works are ongoing, but due to the significant damage, the process will take some time. The power supply is expected to be restored within two weeks.

Meanwhile, according to the official:

Recently, a critical infrastructure facility in Kherson was damaged by Russian shelling on February 17, which caused a power outage for 2,500 consumers in one of the city's districts.

The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that on February 17, the Russian army conducted an air strike on the village of Mylove, Beryslav district, Kherson region.

The post says that the attack severely damaged residential buildings - about fifty houses were damaged, at least three houses were destroyed. There were no reports of injuries or deaths among local residents.

Volodymyr Litvinov, head of the Beryslav district administration , noted that as a result of 9 guided missiles in Mylove, 26 private houses, an educational institution, a preschool, and a shop were damaged.

In the first month of 2025, more than twelve thousand enemy shells "flew" to the Kherson region. January 2025 was a tragic month for Kherson, as the city lost 16 of its residents during that month.

Meanwhile, local businessman Viktor Khodykin will be paying UAH 3 million to close windows and repair roofing after shelling at facilities owned by the city council.
