The debris from one of the drones used by the Russians to shell Odesa on July 3 damaged the building of the Chinese Consulate in the city.

This was reported by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga.

According to Sybiga, after the shelling, a component of the Russian-Iranian Shahed drone, which was manufactured in China and delivered recently, was found in Kyiv. The same night, the building of the Consulate General of China in Odesa was slightly damaged.

"There is no better metaphor for how Putin continues to escalate his war and terror, bringing in others, including North Korean troops, Iranian weapons and some Chinese manufacturers," the minister said.

On July 3, Russian troops attacked Odesa, wounding five people, including two children aged 7 and 9. A residential high-rise building was damaged, with more than 40 apartments affected. The enemy struck a residential area, partially destroying an apartment building and other civilian infrastructure.

Preliminary, six apartments were completely destroyed, and 36 others sustained varying degrees of damage. The blast wave smashed windows, damaged ceilings and communications.

On the night of June 30, a Russian drone hit car repair shops and a storage area for special equipment of the Odesa branch of the Infoksvodokanal. The strike damaged several dozen pieces of equipment, including vehicles of repair crews, an excavator, tankers and sludge pumps.

The repair shop, as well as the premises of auto electricians and engineers, were destroyed along with all the equipment. According to the company, this equipment was vital for eliminating accidents on the networks, and its loss will significantly complicate emergency response.
