Russian missile damages Zaporizhzhia-Odesa train

The Zaporizhzhia-Odesa train came under Russian fire in the Dnipro region and passengers had to be evacuated.

This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.

The company noted that rescuers and ambulances arrived at the scene, but there were no casualties among passengers and railroad workers. The rocket hit near the train.

Passengers were moved to shelters as the air alert in the region continued, and those who were injured are being treated. Ukrzaliznytsia has arranged for an additional electric train to transport passengers to Zaporizhzhia.

Meanwhile, Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov reported that 14 schools and kindergartens were damaged in the city, the city hospital and clinic were also damaged, and there was significant damage to the private sector. Preliminary, one person was killed.

On June 23, June 24 was declared a Day of Mourning in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Odesa region, due to a missile attack by the Russian army. The missile hit a school in the city and destroyed it. Two people were killed in the attack and another woman died of her injuries in the hospital.

The day before, the emergency medical station in the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi in Odesa region was destroyed in a night attack by Russians on June 22. No people were injured, but seven ambulances were disabled, six of them were smashed, and one ambulance burned down completely. Emergency medical care is now provided by teams stationed in other permanent locations. The consequences of the enemy strike are being eliminated on the spot.

On the night of June 22, Odesa region once again became the target of a night air attack by Russians, but this time they did not hit Odesa. According to rescuers, fires broke out at the site of the hits, burning buildings on the territory of the ambulance station, a garage and a car in it, and a nearby residential building.
