In the Crimean city of Dzhankoy, Russian soldiers are draining gasoline from the cars of local residents who leave their vehicles outside their homes.

This was reported in a telegram by activists of the Yellow Ribbon movement .

The invaders continue to loot households: now they are robbing car owners under the guise of war needs. The Russian military is not even stopped by the fact that they are caught red-handed stealing fuel - they simply hide behind slogans about the 'Armed Forces of Ukraine'. The inaction of the occupation police once again confirms that the law on the peninsula works only in favor of the aggressor.

Earlier, the Crimean peninsula faced the second wave of the fuel crisis. After gas stations ran out of popular gasoline, diesel fuel completely disappeared from the market.

Despite Sergei Aksyonov's statements about overcoming the shortage, the fuel situation on the peninsula has deteriorated sharply. Starting from the evening of December 30, not only popular gasoline (A-92, A-95 and premium A-95 ULTRA), but also diesel fuel disappeared from gas stations.

The main reasons for the crisis are said to be a logistical failure in the Kerch Strait due to storms and priority provision for the needs of the Russian army. As the winter period is traditionally accompanied by unstable operation of the crossing, the shortage could become long-lasting.

''This confirms our observations that there are no significant stocks of fuel, particularly gasoline, on the peninsula. And this is not so much the fault of the occupation authorities of Crimea as the successful work of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which destroyed almost all fuel storage facilities in Crimea with their precise strikes,'' the activist said.

According to Reuters, the Russian oil refining industry in 2025 showed the worst results in the last 12 years. The main factor behind the decline was systematic strikes by Ukrainian drones, which paralyzed the work of the ten largest enterprises, some of which could not resume operations for months.
