Russian drone hits oil tanks in Odesa region

On the night of April 26, Russians attacked Odesa region, hitting technological equipment, oil tanks and cargo vehicles in one of the ports.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper.

According to him, one person was injured. Fires broke out and were quickly extinguished by rescuers. In the residential sector, windows in a five-story building were smashed and a car was damaged. An industrial infrastructure facility was also damaged.

At night, the enemy also attacked the infrastructure of Odesa, causing a fire that was quickly extinguished by rescuers. This was reported by the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak. However, residential buildings in the regional center were not damaged and there were no reports of injuries.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of April 26, from 18:00 on April 25, the enemy attacked with 144 Shahed-type attack drones, including jet drones, Gerbera, Italmass and other types of drones. According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m., the air defense neutralized 124 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones in the north, south and east of the country.

There were hits by 19 attack UAVs at 11 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (wreckage) at six locations.

Meanwhile, the wreckage of a Russian drone was found in Romania near the border with Odesa region on the morning of April 25, damaging a power pole and an extension to a residential building. That night, Romanians shot down a Russian drone over their territory for the first time. On the night of April 25, Russian troops again attacked Odesa region with attack drones. As a result of the attacks, three private houses, an outbuilding, and seven cars were damaged and destroyed. Port infrastructure facilities were also damaged. The resulting fires have now been extinguished.
